Tec-Niche supplied product SAFEYE by Dotnetix can help to significantly improve safety on industrial sites
Construction sites are dangerous and can result in accidents and injuries to workers. To enhance safety, companies are turning to advanced equipment technology such as SAFEYE by Dotnetix. One of the key features of SAFEYE is its ability to alert workers to potential hazards in real-time. The external speaker/beacon can be configured to make a specific noise to alert pedestrians when they encounter the configured detection zone. Both the operator and the on-ground employee will be alerted, allowing them to take evasive action to avoid an accident.
In addition to alerting workers to potential hazards, SAFEYE can also help to reduce the risk of other worksite accidents. For example, the device can monitor potential collisions with other vehicles, infrastructure and the angle of the machine can alert the operator if they are in danger of a tip-over hazard. SAFEYE can detect voids around the machine as well as berms so the operator can be alerted to large variations in terrain. All the detection zones can be precisely configured to allow for very specific analytics and a low false alarm rate.

We can determine the speed and location of the machine with this data, which in turn, can be used to identify patterns and areas of concern, allowing construction companies to take proactive measures to improve safety on their sites.
